Sonya lives with her father, mother,and her little sister Olga in Moscow. 
          v. 살다                                                    ↘  ↗     prep. ~안에서        * Moscow는 러시아의 도시이름
소니는 삽니다 .. 그녀의 아버지, 어머니, 그리고 그녀의 작은 여동생인 올가와.... 모스코에서 말이에요.


On weekends, they go to their dacha.
     주말에
주말에는,    그들은 갑니다.. 그들의 다차에.


A dacha is a Russian country house.
다차는 ... 러시아 전원주택입니다.


A lot of Russian families have a dacha.
많은 러시아 가족들이 다차를 가지고있습니다.
= many Russian families (O) / much Russian families (X)
   * many : 셀 수 있는 복수명사 = a lot of 가능 
   * much : 셀 수 없는 명사 = a lot of 가능 
     즉, a lot of 는 둘 다 가능  


On weekends, they get out of the city and spend time in nature. 
                          ~ 로 부터 나오다, 벗어나다.            자연에서
주말에,           그들은 도시를 벗어나서 ... 시간을 보냅니다.. 자연에서.
 

At the dacha, Sonya's family grows vegtable like potatoes and tomatoes.

Sonya is a good farmer. She has a secret. She talks and sings to the vegetables!

On sunny days, Sonya, Olga, and their dacha friend Anton go into the forest.

They pick wild strawberries and mushrooms there.

In the evenings, Sonya's father cooks dinner. He can cook shashlik very well.

Anton's family often joins Sonya's family for dinner.

This weekend, Sonya's family will plant potatoes. Everybody will have fun together.

How to Plant Potatoes    감자를 심는법
어떻게 ~를 하는지 

1. Cut potatoes into pieces.     감자를 조각으로 잘라라.  
2. Plant the pieces deep in the ground.  그 조각들을 땅속 깊이 심어라.
3. Cover them with soil.                   그들 (감자조각)을 흙으로 덮어라.
4. Add about 10 centimeters of soil on top.    약 10센티의 흙을 맨 위에 올려라
5. Water well.                물을 잘 줘라.
