영어공부하기에 정말 좋은 것 같아 올려 드립니당. !!
이 연설문을 통해~ 영어공부하기 좋은 이유가 물론 여러가지가 있겠지만, 제 생각을 정리해 보자면 ....
◈ 일단 스티브잡스의 발음이 클리어 합니다. (당연한 거겠지만)
◈ 보통 연설문이라고 하면, 지루할 것 같지만 ... 그의 Force에 의해 끝까지 경청하게 됩니다.
◈ 분량 또한 약 15분으로 집중하기 딱 좋은 시간인 것 같고
◈ 전달하려는 내용을 ~ 웬지 빙빙 돌려 말하는 것 같지만, 듣다보면 언어의 마술을 느낄 수 있습니다.
◈ 열심히 들었다면 ~ 연설을 듣고 나면 감동이 있습니다.
그 감동은 영어 자체에서 오는 것 보다는 그의 강력한 메세지에서 오는 강렬한 감동인 것 같습니다.
◈ 완전 딱딱한 문어체라기 보다는 입으로 발음연습하기 정말 좋은 문어체 + 구어체의 짬뽕형 입니다.
쉽게 한마디로 이야기 하자면 ........... 영어공부 및 청취, 발음훈련 에 정말 딱 입니다.

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. Truth be told, I never graduated from college. And this is the closest I've ever gotten to a college graduation.
Today, I wanna tell you three stories from my life. That's it. No big deal. Just three stories. The first story is about connecting the dots.
I dropepd out of Reed College after the first 6 months, but then stayed around as a drop-in for another 18 months or so before I really quit. So why did I drop out?
It started before I was born. My biological mother was a young, unwed graduate student, and she decided to put me up for adoption. She felt very strongly that I should be adopted by college graduates, so everything was all set for me to be adopted at birth by a lawyer and his wife.
Except when I popped out they decided at the last minute that they really wanted a girl. So my parents, who were on a waiting list, got a call in the middle of the night asking: "We got an unexpected baby boy; do you want him?"
They said: "Of course."
My biological mother found out later that my mother had never graduated from college and that my father had never graduated from high school. She refused to sign the final adoption papers.
