In America, we can choose (some of the classes we take.)

미국에서는, 우리는 선택할 수 있어 .... 일부인데 ... 우리가 듣는 수업중 일부를 말이야.


This semester, I'm taking theater, math, chemistry, world history, and Honors English.

이번학기에,    나는....선택할거야.... 연극, 수학, 화학, 세계역사, 그리고 우등영어를 말이지.


Honors classes are harder than regular classes.

However, taking them will help me get into a good college.

I'm busy after school, too. I play the trumpet in the school band.

I'm also in the debate club. I don't know (how I'm going to manage all this.)

My school is a boys-only school.

According to Islamic rules, boys and girls cannot go to the same school.

After eight years of primary school, we go to high school, which lasts four years.

We usually go to the same school from primary school to high school, and we wear uniforms.

   계속적용법은 한정적용법과는 다르게 ........ ,(컴마)를 찍는 것이고 ....해석상 .... 앞의 N를 한정해서 수식해 주는 것 보다는 ... 앞의 N를 가지고 계속 이어 받아서 수식을 하는 느낌을 갖고 있습니다. 그렇지만 결국 앞의 N를 수식하는 것에는 큰 차이가 없죠.

   ex) 

  I know (a pianist who is very famous all over the world.) (한정적 용법) 
                         ↖   ↙
  I know (a pianist, who is very famous all over the world.) (계속적 용법) 
                         ↘  ↗
  그렇지만,

    I know a pianist that  is very famous all over the world. (한정적 용법) => 가능
    I know a pianist, that is very famous all over the world. (계속적 용법) => 불가능
     
 앞의 명사가 사물이었다면 which 가 쓰이게 되며 마찬가지로 ,(콤마) 다음에 that은 불가능합니다. 

 또한,
 
      I know a woman pianist, who is very famous all over the world. (계속적 용법)  
  => I know a woman pianist, and she is very famous all over the world => 전환 가능
