It had stopped raining; the roads were clean, and the dust had been washed from the trees.
비가 그쳤다; 도로는 깨끗했고, 그리고 먼지가 나무로 부터 씼겨 나갔다.


The earth was refreshed.
땅에서 새로운 기운이 생기게 되었다..


The frogs were loud in the pond; they were big, and their throats were swollen with pleasure.
개구리들이 연못에서 큰소로 울었따; 그들은 컸다, 그리고 그들의 목구멍은 즐거움으로 부풀어 있었다.


The grass was sparkling with tiny drops of water.
풀이 반짝이고 있었다 ... 작은 물방울들로 인해


Some boys were playing in the little stream that the rain had made by the roadside; it was good to see them and their bright eyes.
몇몇 남자아이들이 작은 개울가에서 놀고 있었다 .... 비가 만든 연못이고 .... 길옆에 있는 개울가입니다. 그들과 그들의 밝은 눈을 보는 것은 너무 좋았습니다.   


They were having the time of their lives, and I could see they were very happy.

They laughed with joy as one said something to them, though they didn't understand a word.
